Officially.. Bayern Munich Bids Farewell to Nicolas Jackson and Returns Him to Chelsea
Bayern Munich announced the end of Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson's stint with the team, with the player returning to Chelsea after the conclusion of his loan period.
Bayern had signed Jackson on loan from Chelsea in the summer of 2025, in a deal that included clauses for a potential permanent transfer.
According to reports, the Bavarian club has decided not to activate the final purchase option, which means the player will return to London once the loan period ends. Sports director Max Eberl also confirmed that Bayern will not proceed with a permanent deal for the Senegalese striker.
During his time with Bayern Munich, Jackson participated in several matches and contributed to the team's winning of the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal. However, he did not get enough playing time to activate the mandatory purchase conditions stipulated in the agreement between the two clubs.
Jackson is expected to meet with Chelsea's management in the coming weeks to decide his future, whether to continue with the team or consider potential offers during the summer transfer window.
