The newspaper explained that Deco's recent visit to London, accompanied by Bojan Krkic and João Amaral, was not limited to following up on Chelsea striker João Pedro's file, but also witnessed direct moves related to trying to reach an agreement regarding Gordon's inclusion, whom Barcelona considers an important attacking target in its new project.

Liverpool entered the competition strongly to sign the player in recent days, especially after the changes in the English team's forward line, but Barcelona's moves have clearly affected Gordon's stance, who has become enthusiastic about the idea of playing in the Catalan club's shirt and experiencing a new adventure at Spotify Camp Nou.

The report indicated that Newcastle United has set the player's value between 85 and 90 million euros, a figure that Barcelona does not intend to reach, despite the technical management's conviction of the player's capabilities and great attacking potential.

Barcelona sees that Gordon possesses an important advantage in his ability to play as a left winger or a central striker, which provides the team with multiple attacking solutions, especially in light of the team's need to strengthen the left flank alongside the presence of Raphinha, who has suffered several absences this season due to injuries and physical issues.
