The official website of the Union of European Football Associations indicated that 54 countries around the world can boast of having at least one player crowned with the UEFA Champions League title, after Achraf Hakimi and Willian Pacho joined the list by adding Morocco and Ecuador in the 2025 final.

The same source explained that about 633 players from 54 different countries participated in final matches ending with the title, with some players achieving the title more than once, while Lee Kang-in is anticipated to make South Korea the 55th country on the list after his previous participation as an unused substitute in last season's final.

The report pointed out that the 2025 final, in which Paris Saint-Germain defeated Inter Milan 5-0, saw the entry of two new countries into the champions' record, with Moroccan Achraf Hakimi becoming the first player from his country to participate in a European crowning, and Ecuadorian Willian Pacho becoming the first player from Ecuador to participate in a winning team.

The official website of the Union of European Football Associations also noted that Turkish players remain unlucky in the final, as no Turkish player has ever achieved the title despite several participations, which continued in the 2025 final when Hakan Çalhanoğlu lost with Inter against Paris Saint-Germain, alongside players from other countries who did not succeed in winning, such as Albania, Armenia, and Iran.

Spain topped the list of countries producing the most title-winning players with 80 players, followed by Italy with 74 players, then England with 70 players, Germany with 64 players, then the Netherlands with 52 players, Portugal with 46 players, then Brazil with 41 players, and France with 39 players.

In the rest of the list, Scotland came with 26 players, Romania with 14, Yugoslavia with 13, and Argentina with 12 players, while Croatia, the Republic of Ireland, and Denmark registered 8 players each, then Sweden with 7 players, while the rest of the countries were distributed with lower percentages down to just one player in several countries.

The report also pointed to a group of players representing countries that have achieved only one title in the history of the tournament, among them Rabah Madjer from Algeria, Hristo Stoichkov from Bulgaria, Mohamed Salah from Egypt, Achraf Hakimi from Morocco, Keylor Navas from Costa Rica, and Willian Pacho from Ecuador, alongside other prominent names from different countries.

The source confirmed that these statistics only include players who actually participated in the final match, not those who were on the team lists without participating.
