National coach Mohamed Wahbi announced this Tuesday evening the final roster for the Moroccan national team to participate in the 2026 World Cup finals, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The list featured several prominent names that have formed the backbone of the "Atlas Lions" in recent years, alongside some players coming from the Moroccan professional league, in a move that underscores the continued confidence in local talent.

The goalkeeper list included the trio of Yassine Bounou, Munir Mohamedi, and Reda Tagnaouti, despite the strong competition posed by several goalkeepers this season.

In the defense lineup, the list included prominent names led by Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui, and Nayef Aguerd, alongside Issa Diop, Chadi Riad, Youssef Belamri, Redouane Halhal, Zakaria El Wahidi, and Anas Salah-Eddine.

As for the midfield, it saw the presence of a group of players on whom the Moroccan national team relies to create balance, most notably Sofyan Amrabat, Azzedine Ounahi, Bilal El Khannous, and Ismael Saibari, along with Nael Aynaoui, Samir Mourabit, and Ayoub Bouaddi.

In the forward line, the list included prominent attacking names led by Brahim Diaz, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, Ayoub El Kaabi, and Soufiane Rahimi, in addition to Chamseddine Talbi.

Moroccan fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming appearance of the "Atlas Lions" in the World Cup, with high hopes of continuing their global success following the historic achievement by the team in the previous edition.
