Sibari Wins Golden Boot Award in Dutch League

Moroccan midfielder Ismael Saibari of PSV Eindhoven was awarded the Golden Boot for the best player in the Dutch league this season, following an outstanding season in which he delivered remarkable performances that led him to surpass the league's top stars.

Cybarri's crowning came after a vote by a committee of 35 former Dutch international players, including prominent names like Ruud Gullit, Rafael van der Vaart, and Wesley Sneijder. The Moroccan player secured the award by a significant margin, receiving support from 27 votes for first place.

In second place was player Mika Godts, while Yui Verman came in third, and Ivan Perisic took fourth place, receiving significant praise for his impactful performance during his team's season, which clearly contributed to PSV Eindhoven's championship victory.

The list also saw the presence of striker Ayase Ueda from Feyenoord among the top five after scoring 25 goals, despite his team's struggles this season. Meanwhile, the committee confirmed that Sibari deserves the award due to his overall performance, with expectations of him participating as a prominent player with the Moroccan national team in the 2026 World Cup.
