Meet the Qualifiers for the Egyptian Premier League
The curtain has officially fallen on the identity of the clubs promoted to the Egyptian Premier League, after the Abu Qir Fertilizers team secured the last qualification spot following a sweeping victory over the Raya team with a score of four to nil, within the competitions of the second division league.
Abu Qir Fertilizers managed to raise their tally to 58 points, securing the third place in the league standings, surpassing the fourth-placed Masar team by three points, and officially booking their spot among the top teams in the next season.
The Canal team had secured their qualification early after dominating the top of the professional league standings with 72 points, becoming the first to qualify for the Premier League.
Petrol Asyut also succeeded in securing promotion during the last round, after reaching 60 points and occupying the second place in the standings.
Thus, the lineup of teams promoted to the Egyptian Premier League for the new season is officially complete, and they are as follows:
