Pini Zahavi Pressures Barcelona to Sign Vuskovic

The Spanish newspaper 'Sport' revealed that the agent Pini Zahavi is pressuring Barcelona to sign the Croatian defender Luka Vuskovic, a player from Tottenham Hotspur, currently on loan to Hamburg.

According to the report, Vuskovic is considered one of the most promising defenders in the market after his impressive performances in the German league, becoming one of the most sought-after players in his position, even though Tottenham does not intend to sell him at the moment.

The report indicated that Pini Zahavi, who is in Barcelona to discuss several matters with the club, continues to push the idea of signing the player, although he is not classified as a priority by the sports management and coach Hans Flick.

The report mentioned that Tottenham, which is competing to remain in the Premier League, does not plan to let go of the player but seeks to extend his contract during the summer.

It explained that Vuskovic, aged 19, had joined Tottenham from Hajduk Split for 11 million euros before being immediately loaned to Hamburg, where he delivered an outstanding season that increased his market value from 15 to 60 million euros within a year.

The player's future may be affected by Tottenham's position in the league table, as they are just one point away from the relegation zone with three rounds remaining in the season, which could open the door for his departure if the team is relegated.

Barcelona is considering several options in the defense position, including Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni and Tottenham's Cristian Romero, amid financial constraints and salary caps that require the club to make precise decisions in the transfer market.
