Walid Salah El-Din, the football director at Al Ahly Club, issued an apology to the club's fans, assuring them that the team will come back stronger than before.

Al Ahly defeated their rival Zamalek with a score of 3-0 on Friday evening in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League title decider.

Salah El-Din apologized to the club's fans through Al Ahly TV channel for the recent failures, noting that major clubs around the world, like Real Madrid, go through similar circumstances.

He pointed out that after the major deals made in the summer, the team's ambitions have risen, adding that "the only consolation is that Al Ahly always returns as one of the strongest clubs in the world."

The former Al Ahly player sent a message to Al Ahly fans, urging them not to criticize the club's icons. He reminded them of the chant "Through good times and bad," adding: "This is a tough time, and the shock is intense."

He concluded his speech by saying that the victory is a "token of reconciliation" with the fans, affirming his confidence in the players' abilities. He pointed out that the lack of confidence was what prevented achieving a greater result.
