Enrique: I haven't experienced such excitement in 15 years, and I'm not happy about it

Luis Enrique, the coach of the French team Paris Saint-Germain, spoke in a press statement after the 5-4 victory against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final, held at the Parc des Princes stadium.

The coach commented on his reaction during the five goals: "I think I managed to keep my composure during the first two or three goals, but after the fourth and fifth goals... that was a mistake because I knew they were capable of scoring again."

He added: "I must say it was an amazing match. I have been coaching for over 15 years, and I can say it was one of the most exciting matches I've experienced."

He continued: "We played three times against Vincent Kompany's team with Bayern Munich, and we knew their pace makes them very difficult. At the beginning of the match, they were better than us, but in the second half, we were the better team. Both teams tried to deliver attacking football, and it was enjoyable to watch."

He emphasized: "If you look at their players like Michael Olise, Harry Kane, Joshua Kimmich, and Pavlovic, as well as our players Barcola, Joao, Vitinha, Dembele, and Kara, you will find that the level was truly amazing."

He concluded: "It is important to show that this is the right way to play football. Yes, as a coach, we are not happy to concede four goals, but I am happy today because we won. Bayern Munich has lost only one match in the last 13 games, and the next match will be very difficult like this one, and we will try to win it."
