Officially: Real Madrid Announces the Nature of Mbappe's Injury and Duration of Absence
In an official statement, Spanish club Real Madrid revealed the nature of the injury sustained by French star Kylian Mbappe during the 1-1 draw against Betis on Friday in La Liga.
The Royal Club said: "After the examinations conducted today on our player Kylian Mbappe by the medical services at Real Madrid, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his left leg."
According to numerous press reports, the injury suffered by the French star is not serious, but he is expected to miss the match against Osasuna next Sunday in the Spanish league.
The reports added that Mbappé will try to be ready for the El Clásico match against Barcelona on May 10th at Camp Nou.
