Al-Ahli clinched the Asian Champions League elite title for the second consecutive time after a hard-fought victory over Machida Zelvia with a 1-0 win. The decisive goal was scored by substitute Firas Al-Buraikan in the 96th minute during extra time.

The final was held at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah, with a large crowd of over 58,000 spectators. Al-Ahli started the match with early offensive pressure, with Jalino nearly opening the scoring with a powerful shot that went just wide of the post.

The Japanese team responded with a header attempt, but it posed no threat to Edouard Mendy's goal, and Al-Ahli continued their attempts. Merih Demiral almost scored, but his shot hit the crossbar.

In the second half, Al-Ahli maintained their dominance despite Ivan Toney missing a clear opportunity. Matters became complicated after Zakaria Hawsawi was sent off, leaving the team to play with ten men.

Mendy excelled in saving dangerous attempts from Machida, keeping his goal clean. In the first extra time, Franck Kessié created the decisive opportunity from which Al-Buraikan scored the winning goal.

Al-Ahli tried to extend their lead in the second extra time but missed additional opportunities. Conversely, Machida nearly equalized in the final moments, but the defense intervened at the right time.

The final whistle was then blown, declaring Al-Ahli's crowning of a new Asian championship, adding a new chapter to their history.
