Al-Gharafa coach: Al Ahly clash is like Al-Hilal.. we aim for victory

Al Ahly FC hosts Al-Gharafa at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah, in the third round of the league stage of the AFC Champions League, with both teams aiming for a positive result.

Martínez stated in the press conference that Al Ahly FC has outstanding players, noting that their winning of the last two editions reflects their strength, and confirmed that Al-Gharafa will fight for the three points.

Al-Gharafa's coach stated that his team performed well during their first two matches in the tournament, but they did not manage to achieve the results they were hoping for, stressing the importance of seizing the opportunity against Al Ahly FC.

Martínez added that small details often decide big confrontations, so he urged his players to maintain full focus and be fully prepared for Monday's match.

Regarding the match against Esteghlal and then Al-Hilal, leading up to Al Ahly FC, Martínez considered this schedule to be part of the nature of the draw, stressing the need to respect it, and pointing out the strength of Saudi Arabian clubs and the exceptional players they possess.

Pedro Martins, the Portuguese coach of Al-Gharafa, confirmed that the match against Al Ahly FC scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, will be strong and balanced, expecting it to resemble his previous team's encounter against Al-Hilal.
