Press reports have revealed the position of Turkish star Arda Güler, Real Madrid's midfielder, regarding his participation in the 2026 World Cup following the injury he recently sustained.

Real Madrid announced in an official statement that the medical examinations undergone by Güler revealed a muscle tear in the biceps femoris of the right leg, confirming that his condition will remain under observation in the coming period.

In this context, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano clarified that the player will recover before the start of the 2026 World Cup, noting that the injury will not hinder his participation with the Turkish national team in the tournament.

Romano added on his account on Platform X: "Arda Güler will be ready and available in time for the World Cup, and the injury will not affect his presence with his national team."

Güler is expected to miss the remaining matches of Real Madrid this season, as his season has been confirmed to end due to injury. This includes the remaining fixtures in La Liga, most notably the El Clasico match against Barcelona scheduled for May 10th.

The 21-year-old player participated in 50 matches across various competitions this season, during which he scored 6 goals and provided 14 assists.
