The Asian Football Confederation officially decided to reject the protest submitted by Shabab Al Ahli Club regarding the cancellation of their goal in the AFC Champions League semi-final elite match against Machida Zelvia.

The federation confirmed the official result of the match, with the Japanese team winning by one goal to none, thus maintaining their qualification for the final of the continental tournament, which will be held on Saturday against Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli, without any changes to the match result.

The decision to reject came after reviewing official reports, including those from the refereeing team and video technology, as the specialized committee did not find any "technical error" that would necessitate replaying the match or changing its result.

On the other hand, the Asian Football Confederation indicated the possibility of issuing additional decisions later regarding the organizational or refereeing aspects of the match, without affecting the approved result.
