According to 'The Times', the Spanish player is suffering from a calf injury, specifically in the upper part of his right leg, which he sustained during the Arsenal match on Sunday.

The report stated that Rodri will miss Manchester City's upcoming match against Burnley, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, as part of the 34th round of the Premier League.

On his part, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed Rodri's absence from the match due to the injury, indicating the possibility of his return in the coming period.

Guardiola said: 'I don't think he will be ready for tomorrow's match, and we will see what happens in the upcoming games, maybe he can play against Southampton or perhaps against Everton in 12 days.'
