As the season draws to a close, the name of French striker Bradley Barcola has resurfaced in the transfer market, amid increasing interest from major clubs looking to strengthen their attacking lines, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Sport'.

Barcola is considered one of the prominent names in the striker market, as he is among the interests of several clubs capable of paying large sums to sign a player of his caliber, especially with the summer transfer window approaching.

Despite the player's repeated assertions that he is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028 and has no intention of leaving the team at the moment, some recent moves have reignited debate about his future and raised doubts about the possibility of him leaving in search of a new experience that offers him a bigger role and development in his career.

According to the newspaper, Barcola ended his relationship with agent Jorge Mendes a year ago and switched to working with agent Moussa Sissoko, who represents star Ousmane Dembélé, opening the door to new moves regarding his future.

During the current season, some discrepancies have emerged between the player's agent and Paris Saint-Germain's management regarding negotiations for contract renewal and improvement, which has increased tension between the two parties, in a scenario the newspaper described as similar to the final stages of Dembélé's career with Barcelona.

Specifically in Barcola's case, Paris Saint-Germain attempted to open negotiations early to discuss the player's future, but his agent's response did not show signs that the negotiations would be easy or quick, quite the opposite.

The newspaper confirms that several major European clubs are closely monitoring the situation, with the agent ready to receive offers from any club capable of meeting the financial demands, with Barcelona being among the names interested in the possibility of signing the player.

This comes amid the potential departure of Robert Lewandowski at the end of the season, which could open the door to strengthening the attacking line at the Catalan club and finding a suitable attacking replacement.

The newspaper also indicated that Liverpool is also studying several attacking options, including Leipzig's Yann Diomande, or turning to Barcola as a potential option.

Although Barcelona retains some reservations about the player's agent due to a previous experience with Dembélé, Barcola's file remains on the table of sporting director Deco, who is considering options to strengthen the attack line.

However, the biggest obstacle remains the financial aspect, as estimates suggest that Paris Saint-Germain will not consider selling the player for less than 80 million euros, making the deal complex and difficult at the moment.
