Zamalek coach Moatamed Gamal confirmed that his team is striving to reach the final of the African Confederation Cup.
Zamalek will meet tomorrow, Friday, with Algeria's CR Belouizdad in the second leg of the African Confederation Cup semi-final.
The Zamalek coach said during the press conference for the match: "We have forgotten the first leg and its result, regardless of the difficult win that Zamalek achieved, and God willing, we will present a good result in the return and qualify for the final."
He added: "Zamalek is the only Egyptian team in Africa this season after the exit of Al Ahly, Pyramids, and Al Masry, and I take this as motivation for all the players for continuity and reaching the final."
The Zamalek coach continued: "I am not thinking about the Egyptian league matches now because I am dealing step by step with each match and each tournament separately, and I thank the officials of the Football Association and the League for organizing the timings for the matches because it is in the interest of the team."
Moatamed Gamal explained that the health condition of player Bezzera is under continuous monitoring by the medical staff, pointing out that the final decision regarding his participation in the match against CR Belouizdad will be decided today.
