Al Ittihad Alexandria achieved a 2-1 victory over their counterpart Zed yesterday, Tuesday, in the fourth round of the relegation phase of the Egyptian Premier League.
The president of Al-Ittihad Alexandria said on the "Oda El-Labs" program on Al-Nahar channel: "Our goal is to reach 35 points to enter the comfort zone and ensure staying in the league next season."
He continued: "The idea of merging company clubs with private clubs was proposed during a conversation with the Minister of Sports, Jawhar Nabil. However, the mechanism for implementing it is still unknown, but the minister agreed and welcomed the idea to alleviate the financial burdens on popular clubs."
