Al-Ghandour: Nasser Mansi is Better than Mostafa Mohamed
Tuesday 14-04-2026
Khaled Al-Ghandour, the former Zamalek star, confirmed that the level of Nasser Mansi, the Zamalek striker, is better than that of Mostafa Mohamed, the French Nantes player. This qualifies Mansi to participate as the main striker for the Egyptian national team at the expense of Mostafa Mohamed.

Al-Ghandour said in statements on "ON Sport" channel: "Despite that, Nasser Mansi didn't play a single minute when he went to the Egypt camp. I (the Egyptian national team) have a problem with the striker. Why did you bring Nasser Mansi? Is it so people would say you (Hossam Hassan) brought him? Or to try him out and let him participate?"

He continued: "Anyone who joins the national team in the final stage before the World Cup does so out of conviction, and in this way, Nasser Mansi was treated unfairly, and Mostafa Mohamed's performance has declined, yet he plays over Mostafa Mohamed normally."

On the other hand, legendary goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary expressed a different viewpoint, asserting that the "Pharaohs" do not face a crisis in the striker position. He cited the presence of outstanding players like Omar Marmoush, the Manchester City star, and Marwan Hamdy, the Pyramids striker, along with several talented players.
