Spanish media reports revealed the reason for Raúl Asensio's absence from Real Madrid's squad list for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

According to a report by the Spanish network "COPE," the player was excluded due to suffering from gastroenteritis, which prevented him from accompanying the team to Munich.

The reports added that French star Aurélien Tchouaméni, despite being suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards, traveled with the team to support his teammates in the anticipated match tomorrow, Wednesday.

Meanwhile, both Thibaut Courtois and Rodrygo Goes continue to stay in Madrid to recover from their respective injuries.

It is noted that the first leg match between the two teams ended with Bayern Munich winning 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
