Reports have revealed that the owners of Newcastle United still support coach Eddie Howe despite the team's declining results this season, with an intention to comprehensively assess the coaching staff's situation next summer.

The reports indicated that the club's management has not yet engaged in serious discussions about changing the coach, considering that reviewing the current situation is a natural procedure in light of recent results.

She added that Howe is highly respected within the club's corridors and is expected to be part of the upcoming evaluation process at the end of the season. This comes despite the team's declining results, as Newcastle is currently in 14th place in the Premier League, having secured only 3 wins in the last 11 matches.

Howe led the team to win the 2025 English League Cup, which was the club's first major title since 1969, and also succeeded in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League on two recent occasions.

In his statements, the English coach affirmed his full commitment to the project, noting the difficulty of thinking about the distant future given the current circumstances.

It is noted that Newcastle is currently 10 points away from the Champions League spots and 5 points from the Conference League spots, before the final rounds of the season.
