Leverkusen Closes the Door on Ibrahim Maza's Departure
Sunday 12-04-2026
Last month, Bayer Leverkusen rejected an official offer to sign the young player Ibrahim Maza, in a move that reflects the club's management's commitment to keeping him despite increasing interest from several clubs.

According to the German newspaper Bild, Leverkusen has also closed the door on further inquiries about the status of the Algerian international player, affirming that they are not prepared to enter into any negotiations at the present time.

The German club prefers to keep Maze within its ranks at least until after the World Cup, as he is seen as one of the important future projects within the team.

The player's market value is estimated at around 40 million euros, and he is tied to a long-term contract that extends until June 30, 2030. His career is managed by the British agency CAA Stellar, one of the leading player management companies globally.
