Real Madrid Club President, Florentino Perez, affirmed that the team does not know surrender, emphasizing the continuation of fighting until the last moment to achieve championships, during his speech at the 2026 badge distribution ceremony for club members.

Perez said: "This is one of the most exciting events in our club, and we will experience a special and emotional moment together, and I am sure this is a day you will not forget. It is a day to thank you for your loyalty and commitment, and especially for dedicating your entire lives to Real Madrid. Today you will receive the gold and gold and diamond badges that honor your continuous membership for 50 and 60 years."

The Real Madrid president continued: "As the president of Real Madrid, I feel a deep pride in all of you, and today you will remember your families, grandparents, and everyone who taught you the meaning of belonging to this club, and who taught you what it means to be from Real Madrid. Being a Madridista is a lifestyle associated with work, sacrifice, constant pursuit of development, humility, respect, team spirit, and solidarity."

He added: "We have all witnessed a large part of our club's history, and everything we have achieved was because we formed one family. Real Madrid is the best club in the world, the most crowned, and the most loved and admired, thanks to its values and the unity we built in good and difficult times."

The club president explained: "Today, the Real Madrid family also includes 700 million people around the world through social media, all of whom feel Madridismo as a universal value that transcends borders."

Speaking before facing Bayern Munich in Munich, Perez said: "Those of you who have dedicated your lives to Real Madrid know well that here no one gives up, and we will continue to fight year after year until the last moment to add more titles to the greatest record in sports history, which is Real Madrid's record."

He continued: "We have achieved 58 titles over the last 15 years, including 6 titles in the UEFA Champions League and 3 in basketball, which reflects our level of ambition, but it also calls us to realize the difficulty of every achievement and every championship."

Perez pointed out the Santiago Bernabeu development project, saying: "We have completed one of the largest transformation operations in the history of this stadium, which is a unique stadium in the world, and the management of the American Football League has once again chosen this stadium to be the stage for one of the biggest events in the world."

He added: "The Bernabeu has become more comfortable and safe for the fans, equipped so that matches or events are not affected by weather conditions, and has turned into an important cultural and tourist landmark in Madrid and Spain."

Perez concluded his remarks by saying: "We must be proud of Real Madrid, it is the club that tops the global economic rankings, and you represent the strength of this club. Thank you for your support and unity, and for everything you have given to the club throughout your lives, and also for the affection I receive from you daily. It is an honor for me to continue presiding over the best club in history."
