Al Ittihad Alexandria Signs Miloud Hamdi
Saturday 11-04-2026
Al Ittihad Alexandria Club has finalized its contract with Algerian-French coach Miloud Hamdi to take over the team's technical leadership, succeeding Tamer Mostafa, who officially departed in recent hours.

The club had announced the acceptance of Tamer Mostafa's apology for not continuing his mission, following the team's declining results in recent matches, the latest being against Ismailia Electricity.

Al Ittihad Alexandria hopes that the new coach will succeed in improving the results, as the team strives to avoid relegation zones and ensure its stay in the Premier League for the next season.

Miloud Hamdi has previous experience in the Egyptian league when he took charge of the Ismaily team. However, his stint was not successful, as he led the team in 21 matches, achieving only 4 victories, alongside 3 draws and 14 losses.

The coach had previously left Ismaily after a difficult period due to the crises the club was going through, according to his previous statements.

In his new experience with Al Ittihad Alexandria, Hamdi aims to achieve a different start, especially since he signed a contract that extends until the end of the season with an option to extend for an additional season, with a clear focus on the goal of staying in the league.

It is noted that the Algerian-French coach has previously won the league and cup titles in Tanzania with the Young Africans team, which boosts the management's hopes for the success of his current experience with the leader of the north.
