The truth about Al Ahly's negotiations to sign Mostafa Ibrahim from Ittihad Alexandria SC

Ahmed Shobair, the former star of Al Ahly FC, has revealed the truth behind the club's negotiations to sign Mostafa Ibrahim from Ittihad Alexandria SC during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Ahmed Shobir stated in a radio interview: "There is a lot of talk about Mustafa Ibrahim, a player at Ittihad Alexandria SC, including contradictory statements from officials regarding whether he will be sold or not. Al Ahly FC has Yasser Ibrahim, Yassin Marei, Hady Reyad, Achraf Dari, and two youth players. After the departure of Mohamed Abdelmonem and Ramy Rabia, it is not easy to replace them."

Shobir continued: "Al Ahly FC needs a player in the defender position, and certainly Yassin Marei is doing well. There are players who will leave, and I don't want to talk about them because I always want the player to feel secure."

Al Ahly FC are preparing to face Petrol Asyut next Wednesday at the Al Salam Stadium in the first round of the Cairo Capital Cup.
