Al-Ahly Announces Successful Surgery for Bilal Atiya and Determines His Absence Duration from the Field

Al-Ahly Club revealed updates on the medical condition of its young player Bilal Atiya, following the injury he sustained during the match against Tala'ea El-Gaish in the Republic Championship last week.

The player left the match due to a knee injury and was taken to the hospital to check on his condition and undergo the necessary examinations.

Al-Ahly announced that Bilal Atiyah underwent a successful surgery to treat the injury he sustained in his knee cartilage, wishing him a speedy recovery and return to the field.

The club had previously clarified the details of the injury, which included bruising of the knee bones, a sprain in the inner ligament, a sprain in the posterior cruciate ligament, and a tear in the inner cartilage.

For his part, Osama Mustafa, head of the medical staff in the youth sector, confirmed that the player will undergo a conservative treatment program for six weeks, before undergoing a new medical examination to assess his condition and determine the date of his return to participation.
