Omar Gaber, the Zamalek star, expressed his happiness with his team's victory over Algeria's CR Belouizdad in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.

Zamalek succeeded in defeating CR Belouizdad in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final with a score of one to nil.

Omar Gaber said during his statements on "beIN Sports" channel: "We played a very tough match against CR Belouizdad, and the victory was the result of teamwork."

He added: "We faced a tough opponent who performs at a strong level, especially since the match was on their home ground and among their fans."

He continued: "We planned early to achieve the best possible result during the first leg, to make the second leg easier."

Jaber continued: "God willing, we will secure qualification to the Confederation Cup final during the second leg of the semi-final in Cairo."
