Gamal Abdel Hamid: Mostafa Mohamed is the Best Striker in Egypt Right Now

Gamal Abdel Hamid, the former star of Zamalek Club and the Egyptian national team, praised the player Mostafa Mohamed, affirming that he is the best Egyptian striker currently and should have been included in the Pharaohs' squad for the World Cup.

Gamal Abdel Hamid said in statements on the Modern Sports program: "All the stars in Egypt or globally participated with their national teams when they were 18 years old, at a time when the first team relied on youth players rather than purchasing transfers."

He added, "The selection of Hamza Abdul Karim is very good, but it's a double-edged sword. He lacks experience, but after several years in major tournaments like the Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup, when Hamza wears the captain's armband, this will be credited to Hossam Hassan's favor."

He continued: "We are used to having a traditional striker in the Egyptian national team, which is why everyone criticizes Hossam Hassan for not including Mostafa Mohamed, and there is a question mark over this matter."

He added: "Mostafa Mohamed is currently the best striker in Egypt, and he is the only striker whose original position is this, and he plays professionally in Europe."
