Ghandour: Zamalek is the League Champion Without Any Player in Egypt's National Team Starting Line-up
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour criticized the absence of any Zamalek player from participating with the Egyptian national team in the friendly match against Russia yesterday, Thursday.
The friendly match between Egypt and Russia, held yesterday, Thursday, at Cairo International Stadium, ended with the Pharaohs winning 1-0.
Al-Ghandour said on Facebook: "Zamalek is the Egyptian league champion without any player in the starting lineup of the Egyptian national team, not even in the first five substitutions."
The Egyptian national team is preparing to compete in the 2026 World Cup, where the Pharaohs are placed in Group G alongside the teams of Iran, Belgium, and New Zealand.
The friendly match between Egypt and Russia, held yesterday, Thursday, at Cairo International Stadium, ended with the Pharaohs winning 1-0.
