Juventus received another blow after their forward Dusan Vlahovic sustained an injury during the match against Genoa, which is expected to sideline him for at least three weeks, continuing his struggles this season.

The Serbian striker recently returned to play after a four-month absence following surgery on his adductor muscle. However, the latest injury represents a new setback that could affect his physical and mental condition.

This comes at a time when Vlahović is nearing the end of a season considered one of the toughest in his career, amid frequent absences and a decline in his participation with the team.

The player's contract ends at the end of the current season, and Juventus management has entered negotiations to renew his contract. They have offered a short-term contract extending until 2027 or 2028, with an annual salary of 6 million euros.

The newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" reported that the player was aiming for a higher salary, but the recent injury might give the club an advantage in the ongoing negotiations.

Nevertheless, Vlahović, who is 26 years old, has made his position clear by expressing his desire to continue with the Old Lady, while awaiting a final agreement.

The Serbian forward participated in 18 matches with Juventus this season across various competitions, during which he scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists.
