Juventus Nears Decision on Spalletti's Future
Wednesday 08-04-2026
Juventus is close to finalizing the future of its coach Luciano Spalletti, in a move aimed at achieving technical stability before the upcoming summer transfer window.

The newspaper 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' reported that the club's management has reached a final agreement with the Italian coach to extend his contract, with only the official signing remaining before the announcement in the coming days.

Spalletti is expected to sign a new contract extending until the summer of 2028, with an annual salary ranging from 5 to 6 million euros, including incentives and bonuses.

Reports indicated that the official announcement of the extension might happen before the match against Atalanta, scheduled for Saturday evening as part of the Italian league competitions.

Spalletti took over the coaching of Juventus at the end of last October with a short-term contract extending until the end of the 2025/2026 season, with a clause allowing for an additional season extension if qualified for the Champions League.

The management of the Old Lady aims to resolve this matter early to provide the technical staff with the necessary stability before entering the summer transfer market and preparing for the new season.
