Harry Kane, the Bayern Munich striker, appeared in a press statement following the 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, in the match held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The English star said: "With all the noise surrounding the match, coming to Madrid and trying to achieve a positive result is always difficult. We had some good opportunities, and we commend them as well. We can be very happy with this win and look forward to next week."

He added, "We have enjoyed wonderful moments together. We are now in the crucial stages of the season. The more we play and train together, the stronger our feelings become. We always feel dangerous, and we always feel that we are certainly capable of scoring goals."

He concluded: "We are in a good position, we need to maintain our focus. Now all we have to do is recover, and next week will come the time to try to repeat the same in the return match."
