European Destination Hosts Al-Ittihad's Preparations for the New Season
The management of Al-Ittihad Club has finalized its decision regarding the location of the external training camp in preparation for the start of the next season, in a move aimed at boosting the team's readiness early on.
The management chose to hold the summer camp in the Spanish city of Marbella during July, with the program starting in the middle of the month and continuing until the end.
The choice of Marbella comes as it is one of the most prominent destinations attracting European and Gulf clubs during preparation periods, due to the ideal training environment it offers.
The preparation program includes playing two to three friendly matches to enhance technical harmony and improve the players' physical fitness levels before the start of the season.
At the same time, the management is considering an alternative option of holding the camp in the Spanish city of Cadiz. However, this possibility remains weak and depends on the arrangements for friendly matches.
The management is currently coordinating with several teams to determine the opponents for the preparatory matches, in line with the coaching staff's vision for the team.
The federation had held its training camp last season between Portugal and Spain, specifically in Algarve and Girona, as part of a similar preparation plan.
