Severe Blows to Al-Hilal: Injuries to Koulibaly and Kanno Before the Al-Taawoun Match
Thursday 02-04-2026
Al Hilal's struggles with injuries continued at a crucial time in the season, ahead of their anticipated match against Al Taawoun in the Saudi Professional League.

The club announced via its official account on the "X" platform that the duo Kalidou Koulibaly and Mohamed Kanno are injured, as they are suffering from pain in the front thigh muscle, and are currently in the medical clinic at the club's headquarters.

Thus, Koulibaly and Kanno join the list of absentees for Al-Hilal against Al-Taawoun, which also includes Salem Al-Dossari, Frenchman Simon Boubary, as well as Sultan Mandash, Hamad Al-Yami, and Youssef Akchichek, due to various injuries.

The team will also miss the services of Serbian Sergej Savic due to suspension for accumulating yellow cards.

These absences put Al-Hilal's coaching staff in a difficult position ahead of a tough match, as the team seeks to continue competing for the top spot in the league and reduce the gap with the leading team, Al-Nassr.
