Press reports have revealed that Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi has already started working with the recruitment team at Tottenham Hotspur, in preparation for the upcoming summer transfer market.

According to Calcio Mercato, De Zerbi is interested in signing Juventus and Italy national team midfielder Manuel Locatelli, as he sees him as a suitable option to strengthen the midfield for the upcoming season.

Tottenham recently announced the signing of De Zerbi to lead the team, succeeding coach Igor Tudor, who temporarily took over after the dismissal of coach Thomas Frank.

The London club hopes that the Italian coach will succeed in restoring stability to the team, especially given the inconsistent results Tottenham is experiencing this season. Staying in the Premier League will be at the top of the Italian coach's objectives.

Tottenham is in seventeenth place in the English Premier League with 30 points, just one point away from the relegation zone.
