Press reports have revealed that Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are considering English player Marcus Rashford as one of their potential options if Barcelona decides not to activate the purchase option to acquire the player permanently from Manchester United during the upcoming transfer window.

According to 'Football Italia', Rashford, aged 28, is still under contract with Manchester United until June 2028, while he is currently playing with Barcelona on loan until the end of the season, with a purchase option worth 30 million euros.

The report indicated that the player has successfully regained his form during his stint with Barcelona, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists in 39 official matches, but this does not necessarily guarantee that the Catalan club will activate the purchase option.

The same source added that Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are closely monitoring the player's situation, in anticipation of possibly moving to sign him if he returns to Manchester United.

The report explained that Milan already has a number of English international players and is seeking to sign a new striker following the decline in Santiago Giménez's performance, while it seems unlikely that Niclas Füllkrug will remain permanently after his loan from West Ham United ends.

The report confirmed that the connection of Rashford with a move to the Italian league is not new, as his name has previously been mentioned among Milan's interests in past periods, which increases the likelihood of this scenario repeating in the upcoming phase.
