Ahmed Al-Jafali's Dues Cause Zamalek's Transfer Ban by FIFA Decision
Wednesday 25-03-2026
A news report revealed the reason why the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has banned Zamalek Club from registering new players for the fourteenth time, and for three consecutive periods.

According to the "Kora Plus" website, the dues of Tunisian player Ahmed Al-Jafali, who ended his loan to Saudi club Abha during the last winter transfer window, are behind the recent decision to halt registrations.

The report indicated that the management of Zamalek needs more than 3 million dollars to resolve this crisis and lift the suspension in order to be able to make new signings during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite the crisis, Zamalek continues its continental journey successfully, having qualified for the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup after defeating Otoho of Congo 2-1 in the second leg, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
