Moatamed Gamal: Zamalek is Working on All Scenarios for the Confederation Cup Final
Zamalek coach Moatamed Gamal confirmed that his team is working on all scenarios for the CAF Confederation Cup final and stated that he is confident the Whites will win the championship.
Tomorrow, Saturday, Zamalek will face off against Algeria's USM Alger in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.
In statements during the press conference for the match, Moatamed Gamal said: "We previously mentioned in Algeria that we divided the confrontation into two halves. The first half is over, and this is football; we lost by a goal. We have closed the chapter on the first half and are now preparing ourselves for the second half."
He added: "We have agreed to exert maximum effort and crown our efforts. The team knows how hard we've worked recently, and there's no better time than now to complete the season's efforts. We trust in ourselves, hoping luck will be on our side, to perform well, and to win the championship."
He continued: "We are working on all scenarios, including penalty kicks, and from the first second, God willing, we will achieve the dream. We are prepared for all circumstances."
He continued: "The club includes players who can achieve our goal, which is the most important for us. We have great experience and are prepared for any circumstances, whether the match ends in 90 minutes or goes to penalty kicks."
Regarding the first leg match against USM Alger, he said: "I don't want to talk about the refereeing, but the least we could have achieved there was a draw. However, that's fate, and we've worked very hard this season. God willing, we will lift the cup."
He continued: "In the first leg, we might have allowed the opponent to dominate possession, but now the venue changes, as does the crowd, and these are in our favor. We respect the opposing team, and whether we have the ball or not, we aim to achieve the desired goal."
