The Ecuadorian player Moises Caicedo, Chelsea's midfield star, has confirmed that he is fully committed to his future with his current club, denying all rumors linking him to a move to Real Madrid during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Caicedo said in his statements: "I am focused on my team now, I have a contract and I want to become a legend there."

He pointed out that despite Chelsea's exit from the Champions League round of 16 at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, and the uncertainty of their participation in the next edition of the tournament, he is not considering leaving the London club and aims to finish the season in the best possible way.

The player added, speaking about the 2026 World Cup: "I hope it goes well in the tournament because I want to elevate the Ecuador national team to the top."

Regarding the possibility of playing in the World Cup opening match despite the red card he received against Argentina in the last qualifying match, Caicedo said: "There are rumors the president told me, the possibility is high, and it seems I will be able to play. I would be very happy if that happens and with great enthusiasm."

During the current season, Caicedo has scored five goals despite being a defensive midfielder. He is considered one of the best central midfielders in the world and has played a major role in Chelsea's high position in the Premier League table. His ability to recover the ball and win duels makes him a target for many European clubs, but he has insisted that he does not plan to leave his club.
