Sources mentioned that Mbappe consulted one of the leading knee specialists in France, who discovered that the diagnosis conducted by the medical team in Madrid was incorrect, as they examined the right knee instead of the left, which was considered a grave mistake.

Journalist Miguel Ángel Díaz pointed out that this misdiagnosis led to the adoption of incorrect protocols, prompting the Royal Club to officially dismiss the medical staff in January amid a series of other injuries the team suffered.

For his part, Mbappé confirmed that his health is excellent currently after undergoing the correct protocol in Paris with the French doctor Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet, stating: "I have recovered 100%, and we have set the best plan to return to top form to be ready for the end of the season with Real Madrid and in the World Cup."
