England Announces New Amendments in March's International Break List
Monday 23-03-2026
The English Football Association announced amendments to the national team's list, led by coach Thomas Tuchel, during the current international break period for March, in preparation for two strong friendly matches at Wembley Stadium.

The technical staff decided to call up Harry Barnes, Newcastle United's winger, and Ben White, Arsenal's defender, to join the current camp, in a move aimed at compensating for the numerical shortage caused by recent injuries to the team.

According to the official website of the English national team, Barnes and White will replace the absence of Eberechi Eze and Quansah, after confirming their unavailability for the March matches due to injury.

This return holds special significance for Harry Barnes, who has only participated with the national team in one match dating back to October 2020, while Ben White seeks to increase his international appearances, which currently stand at just four matches.

The English national team is preparing to play two friendly matches at Wembley Stadium, facing Uruguay on Friday, March 27, before meeting Japan on Tuesday, March 31, as part of their preparations for upcoming commitments and testing the readiness of available players amid the absences.
