The Portuguese Sergio Conceição, the coach of Al-Ittihad, is addressing the issue of his team's recent decline in performance, revealing the main reasons that have led to this downturn in the past period.

The coach explained during a meeting with the club's management that the lack of reinforcements in the winter transfer market was the main factor behind the fluctuation in performance and results.

Conceição pointed out that the team was also affected by the numerous injuries that hit its key players, which negatively impacted the technical stability on the field.

He confirmed that the team was unable to compensate for the departure of some influential figures, such as N'Golo Kanté, in addition to the absence of the role that Karim Benzema played before his departure.

The coach emphasized that these combined factors contributed to the team's decline in performance, especially after the recent loss to Al-Khulood and the exit from the King's Cup.

On the other hand, the club's management decided to retain Conceição until the end of the season, with a comprehensive evaluation of his results to be conducted before making a final decision regarding his future.
