Esperance President: We Want to Play Like We Did in the Second Half Against Al Ahly
Hamdi Meddeb, the president of the Tunisian club Espérance Sportive de Tunis, expressed his desire for his team to perform in the second leg against Al Ahly with the same level of play they exhibited in the second half of the first leg.
Esperance will face Al Ahly next Saturday in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
Hamdi Meddeb said in statements reported by Tunisian radio station Mosaique: "God willing, we will play as we did during the second half of the first leg match. This is the Esperance we love."
The first leg of the match ended with a 1-0 victory for Esperance.
