Osama Mostafa, head of the medical department for the youth sector at Al-Ahly, confirmed in statements to the club's official website that Al-Asyouti underwent a successful surgery after suffering a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.
Osama Mustafa confirmed that the player underwent surgery after thorough examinations, which were sent to the Austrian expert Vinik, who emphasized the necessity of the surgical procedure.
It is noted that Al-Assiouty had participated with Al-Ahly's first team in the Cairo Cup matches.
