Osama Mustafa confirmed that the player underwent surgery after thorough examinations, which were sent to the Austrian expert Vinik, who emphasized the necessity of the surgical procedure.
It is noted that Al-Assiouty had participated with Al-Ahly's first team in the Cairo Cup matches.
