Mohammed Al-Munajjim Reveals Behind the Scenes of Muteb Al-Harbi's Transfer from Al-Shabab to Al-Hilal

Mohammed Al-Munjim, the former president of Al-Shabab Saudi Club, revealed the behind-the-scenes details of the transfer of left-back Muteb Al-Harbi to Al-Hilal Saudi Club during the summer transfer window of 2024, in a deal that saw strong competition with Al-Nassr Saudi Club.

The astrologer stated in a podcast with Misfer that the Al-Shabab management at the time handled the recruitment program's budget unprofessionally, which led to the sale of Muteb Al-Harbi to Al-Hilal, along with the departure of defender Hassan Tambakti, without making strong deals to compensate for their loss.

He added: "The rumors made it seem like I was a fan of several clubs like Al-Hilal, but in reality, I don't belong to any club except Al-Shabab, and I respect all sports entities."

The astrologer clarified that the decision to sell Muteb Al-Harbi's contract was made in the interest of the club and in adherence to the financial budget, emphasizing that Al-Hilal made the best offer to acquire the player's services.

He continued: "I had two options; either transferring Al-Harbi to Al-Nassr to avoid upsetting Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Nasser Al Saud, or transferring him to Al-Hilal, which had the higher offer. In the end, I agreed to the better offer that served the interests of Al-Shabab."
