Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi made a successful return to Girona's starting lineup after being sidelined due to injury, contributing to his team's 3-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao in the 28th round of the Spanish league.

Ounahi scored the second goal for his team in the 77th minute, after Girona opened the scoring early in the fourth minute of the first half, before Claudio Echeverri added the third goal in injury time (90+2).

The match also saw the absence of Moroccan international Marouane Senhaji from Athletic Bilbao's lineup due to injury.

Ounahi delivered an impressive performance during the match, receiving a rating of 7.5 before leaving the field in the 83rd minute, after making a significant contribution to his team's victory.

This is Ounahi's fourth goal in the Spanish league this season, out of 14 matches he has played, including 10 as a starter, in addition to providing two assists.

With this victory, Girona raised their tally to 34 points, temporarily climbing to twelfth place in the Spanish league standings.
