Ahmed Hassan stated on Facebook: "Source: Ibrahim Adel is at the top of Al Ahly's signings for the new season, and Yassin Mansour is handling the player's contract negotiations."
The player had joined Denmark's Nordsjælland on loan from Al Jazira of the UAE during the last winter transfer window.
Al Ahly will face Tunisian side Esperance next Sunday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
