Al Hilal Club announced updates on the medical condition of their Turkish defender Yusuf Akcicek, following his surgery to treat the injury he recently suffered.

Akçay underwent a successful surgery on his lower abdominal muscles, as announced by the club on its official account on the "X" platform.

The surgery was conducted on Thursday afternoon in the French capital, Paris, under the supervision of specialist doctor Gilles Reboul and in full coordination with the medical team of Al-Hilal Club.

The Turkish defender began the treatment and rehabilitation phase following the surgery, with his treatment program expected to last between four and six weeks.

Akchichek participated with Al-Hilal in 17 matches across various competitions this season and successfully scored one goal.

In a related context, Al-Hilal continues its preparations for the upcoming match against Al-Fateh as part of the Saudi Roshan League competition.

The two teams are scheduled to meet on Saturday, March 14, as part of the 26th round of the tournament.

Al Hilal holds the third position in the league standings with 61 points, accumulated from 18 wins and 7 draws, without suffering any losses so far.
