The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' revealed that the German coach Jurgen Klopp, who was considered one of the top candidates to take over the coaching position at Real Madrid, is getting closer to taking the position of head coach of the German national team instead of any club.

The newspaper explained that officials from Red Bull are concerned that Klopp might leave his position as Director of Football at the company to become the next coach of the German national team after the World Cup, succeeding Julian Nagelsmann, whose contract with the German federation extends until Euro 2028.

The newspaper added that Klopp does not wish to deal with the daily pressures associated with coaching clubs, which currently makes his taking over at Real Madrid unlikely, according to sources close to the German coach.

Despite rumors of tensions between Red Bull and Klopp over the past months, the Austrian company denied any crisis between the two parties, confirming that the coach will remain in his position as Director of Football.

The newspaper pointed out that Klopp remains one of the favorite coaches among Real Madrid officials, but recent German reports confirm that the likelihood of him leading the team in the near future is significantly diminishing.
