Real Madrid Considers Expediting the Return of Jacobo Ramon
Wednesday 29-04-2026
The Spanish newspaper 'Marca' revealed that Real Madrid is considering expediting the return of its young defender Jacobo Ramon at the end of the current season, in light of the defensive crisis that the team is experiencing.

This step came after confirming the absence of Eder Militao for a period that could reach up to 5 months due to injury, which disrupted the royal club's plans for the center-back position, prompting the management to consider the return of the young defender.

Jacobo Ramon had moved to Como last summer from Real Madrid in a deal valued at 2.5 million euros, with additional incentives linked to his appearances with the team, and the club intended to bring him back in the summer of 2027, not this summer.

Real Madrid retained 50% of the player's future resale value, along with a clause granting them the right to repurchase the player during the first three seasons, for about 9 million euros in the first season, 10 million in the second, and 11 million in the third.

These clauses reflect Real Madrid's strategy in securing the future of its young talents, while maintaining the possibility of retrieving them if they shine outside the club's walls.
